strangely the loss of need to eat after smoking doesnt work for me. the hunger dulling taste after smoking fails because a pack or 2 of polos a days not only removes the bad taste but polos are fatening.
further, i only smoke about 8 fags in colege, so i smoking from 8am to 4pm on monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday. on weekends and half terms i dont smoke.
as some of us know, when we quit smoking we gain weight. however, i feel that will my light and erratic smoking pattern, im going through the quitting and gaining weight system over and over and over again.
when i get home from colege after 40 minutes on the bus im staving, im eating sweets on the weekends. and i only have an hour on the stationary bike a day to combat it.
will quitting smoking and having a normal metabolism fix this?

you need to eat a sensible diet to not get fat. and hr a day on a stationary bike should be enough. try getting off the bus earlier as well. the only weight gained through giving up smoking is because ppl feel the need to substitute smoking with something else and food becomes the natural choice as it goes in the mouth. your not a heavy smoker so you probably wont gain weight, drop the sweets on the wkend and eat properly. your body will thank you for it.
